Venture is experienced in the design of surveys for telephone interviewing, mail format, and online. In designing a survey, it is important to structure the questions so that unbiased answers are elicited from the respondent. Venture ensures that all questions are asked in such a manner that does not influence the respondent, and that survey questions are ordered in such a way as to lead the respondent through a logical sequence. Surveys normally contain a combination of closed and open-ended questions, which allow the interviewer to probe the respondent for in-depth opinions and responses to important issues.
All surveys are designed by Venture in consultation with the client to ensure that all relevant issues required are explored. In addition, before the survey is fully implemented, it is pre-tested on a small sample in order to determine if any modifications are necessary.
Venture has the capability and expertise to manage and analyze large databases, and provide detailed statistical analysis, including factor, cluster, and conjoint analysis. Members of Venture's team have extensive experience in statistical analysis and database analysis, including: SPSS, StatXP (Voxco), MS Excel, and MS Access. The company's systems are integrated in such a way that survey data, once recorded by the interviewer, can be imported directly into any statistical analysis or database management software. As well, databases can be directly imported into Venture's interviewing software.
Venture also undertakes Internet or Web-based surveys using unique pin-numbers to ensure the integrity of the data collection process. We can take care of the whole process from designing and programming the questionnaire, providing email invitations to respondents, sending reminder and thank you emails to tracking response rates, and compiling and reporting results.
